One Man's Trash Is Another Man's Treasure

In Los Angeles, and all around the world for that matter, there are warehouses full of unused premium and vintage fabrics. They originate from Japan, Italy and the US, but have been discarded here by big brands or mills that clear their inventories from time to time.

We see this as an opportunity to cherry pick the very best of the bunch and upcycle them into utility clothing that will have a second life, rather than it ending up in landfill.

Our process is simple; we rummage through libraries of fabrics with various suppliers, find the treasures, sample and test them, then release a new batch in any given style. We find denim, canvas, twill, chambray, pocketing, vintage military and many more.

It’s a win win because not only are we utilizing what would otherwise go to waste and probably end up in landfill, but we immediately eliminate major elements of the carbon footprint, namely; the huge amount of water used to make new fabric, the chemicals used to grow and dye it and all the human and machine energy used to produce it. In addition, there’s no international shipping and associated emissions. All in all we think it’s a great start to tackling what has become a goliath sized problem in the world today.

Oh and the best part is we only use the finest quality cloth on the planet, made by all the premium mills!
